I have a 2007 dodge nitro. After put ethanol gas fuel the engine signal lit up. I filled the whole tank with this fuel. Can this damage my car?
I have a 2007 dodge nitro. After put ethanol gas fuel the engine signal lit up. I filled the whole tank with this fuel. Can this damage my car? The car is not E85 certified.

  1. does the manual say the vehicle is a flexfuel vehicle?! you have basically destroyed the motor already… way to go, what made you do that?

  2. is your car e 85 certified?

  3. Siphon most of the E85 out, fill up with premium. right away. you might be OK after a tank or two of non ethanol gas.

  4. You probably didn’t hurt anything, but don’t put that junk in your car. You need to read the code to see what the light is about.
