i have a fuel ethanol still built and i just need to know where i can get the papers to mail in or whatever to make it legal.

I’m guessing you are in Utah (Salt Lake City Question)
An ethanol still is virtually identical to a moonshine still so make your enquiries discrete. It would probably be wise to partly disassemble your still until you have the required paperwork. Be prepared for a wait.
The first hurdle that you will have is how do you prove that the alcohol that you produce will not be diverted to beverage alcohol and will be used exclusively as fuel?
It would be interesting to know what requirements Archer Daniels Midland has to meet to assure the government that the alcohol that it produces is not diverted to beverage alcohol.
You can get a permit for personal use/consumption from ATF (Yes, the same ATF that created the Branch Davidian fiasco in Waco, TX)
