    I bought a book on how to do this but don’t have the ambition to do the work only to lower the cost a few cents for me

  3. You don’t need to convert a diesel engine to run on biodiesel. It will run with no modifications. Biodiesel will dissolve natural rubber. If you have an older engine you might need to change the fuel lines and seals to synthetic rubber or urethane. Biodiesel is a solvent that will loosen sludge from the fuel tank. Be prepared for frequent filter changes until the tank is clean.
