Will bio-diesel work on a regular gasoline vehicle?

bio-diesel

I am interested to know if this is all possible since the price of gasoline is slightly higher then diesel. If we are able to use bio-diesel is there any conversion kit needed?

  1. No you can’t use diesel in a gas engine.

The conversion would be to replace the engine with a diesel engine and a bunch of other stuff also.

Don’t even think about it. good luck.

major conversion would be needed. since diesels use glow plugs rather than spark plugs and many other different parts. plus been hearing major problems with bio diesel. pluging carbs up disolving fiberglass.

  3. No!!

Bio diesel will work on a diesel engine, not on a gas one! It is diesel fuel, just from a different basic source!

  4. no think about your question will bio diesel work in a gasoline engine would you put regular diesel in a gasoline engine? i don’t think so unless you wish to ruin it. I’m guessing you are asking will Bio diesel work in a regular diesel engine

  5. NO! bio-diesel is only usable in diesel engines.
And even then a conversion kit is needed to heat the oil.

On the other hand, a gasoline engine can be converted,
to run on propane or natural gas.

  6. No. Simply put….no. It has to be a diesel, and simple equipment is also needed for opperation of this type of fuel.

  7. there are companies that will install diesel engines into any car…my friend’s dad does this…see if there’s a bio-diesel company in your area…also it’s a good idea because diesel fuel lasts longer so you don’t have to fill up as much….and it is cheaper.

  8. Just think what you’re asking, will DIESEL work in a GASOLINE engine. NO!!! It will not. Two different combustion processes, two different fuels. Go online and do a little research about how each system operates and you’ll understand.
