What kind of vans are best for bio diesel conversions?

bio-diesel

Me and some friends are thinking about buying a van to go travelling in..We want to convert it ourselves and fit all the bed, kitchen etc in it. We would ideally also want to convert it to run off bio diesel. We plan to buy the van in Germany and it would have to be big enough to sleep 3 of us and enough space that we dont go insane. Have any of you petrol heads out there got any good suggestions as to makes and models?

  1. In the US I would find an E350 (ford with 7.3L turbo diesel) you should be able to find one that is/has been used for delivery and the inside would be open and ready for your conversion.

  2. over in Europe Mercedes delivery trucks/vans are everywhere, also the new freightliner delivery truck around here is gaining popularity overseas too. either would make a decent conversion
