Are there any available electric cars that can go highway speed?

I watched “Who Killed the Electric Car?” and heard a presentation about electric cars. They seem like really great cars but the only ones that are available are low speed cars (max speed of 35 mph), right?

What are some percentages based on electric cars?

Well, I’m doing a project.. and Google isn’t being my reliable source. Pretty much, all I need is some percentages or.. numbers based on anything GOOD about electric cars. I’d also like some links to websites with electric car information. Thanks!

If wind energy was used what would it replace?

If wind energy was used more often, what other types of nonrenewable energy sources would it replace?

How does wind energy work? I know a little, but does anyone have a clearer idea?

I’ve tried some internet sites, but none of them have given me any real idea of how it works except “It turns the blades and generates electricity”
I am really interested in Wind energy, and how it works. Anyone have a somewhat clearer explanation for me? Thanks.

Which mainstream car manufacturers are currently developing fully electric cars?

I’ve done some reading on electric cars. My reading has led me to the conclusion that electric cars are:
a) Much cheaper to run than petrol/diesel cars.
b) Emit less CO2/KM even if charged by a fossil fuel generated source.
c) In some cases able to meet or even beat the performance of £100,000 supercars.
So if they’re so [...]
