I heard that hybrid cars can run on sunshine, rainbows, and happiness as well as gasoline. Is this true? That would be wonderful because everyone could live happily ever after scooting around in their little hybrid cars.

HAPPINESS? HOW COULD ANYTHING RUN ON HAPPYNESS. NO DUH!
Yup, and gnomes make electricity out of bubble gum. Pretty amazing, huh?
Happiness?? ahh no
Where the hell did u hear that? U should know thats not true.
Its true because mine runs when im mad,and sad,and glad, but not when im happy.I do not know why.Buddy I hope you do not drive a car.Good luck walking
By the way some people talk about them, you would think that were true. I think most hybrid cars are a crock. 40mpg??? Common! We’ve had cars capable of getting that mileage for decades. How does adding extra rotors, motors and toxic batteries to a car that still needs gasoline save the environment. No one ever talks about the damage to the environment caused by the production and disposal of all these extra systems.
it’s turtles all the way down
Hybrid cars and all their fancy “new” technology are just another way for the big corporations to make us, the consumers, pay for their ineptitude in dealing with the problems they have created.
What they won’t tell you (but is now open source knowledge) is the fact that there is a huge amount of energy in ordinary tap water, and it is very easy to extract and utilise this energy. Why won’t they tell us? Because at this time, they have no way of charging us for the value of that energy. There are moves to change that situation though. Look at the recent moves to privatize water infrastructure!
Do some research on “Browns gas”, and learn how easy any handyman can utilise this amazing “free” energy source as a supplemental fuel in the traditional internal combustion engine, regardless of what it is driving. Simple DIY kits are available for fitting to most makes of cars on the road today.
Because of high import costs to Australia, I am in the process of building my own system. You can do likewise, or find a reliable supplier online.
Do some serious research first though, so you understand fully what you are buying. Start with my website below. That will give you some idea of what is available.
Good luck!
I drove from NYC to Anchorage AK – a distance of nearly 5,000 miles – and averaged 29 mpg in my Chevy pickup (270 V6, new in 1992).
Think about this when you pay your $35,000 for that hybrid: I paid $8,000 for that pickup. So… what exactly is in your toy car that’s worth $27,000 ????
you do have a sense of humour pal.
happiness na
All energy on this planet comes ultimatly from sunshine (oil is ancient sunlight) and sunshine is a euphomism for happiness; sunshine also causes rainbows QED.
Unfortunatly there are no “little” hybrids, the smalled is the Honda Accord.
PS my prius makes me happy because it is so much more relaxing to drive, smooth, instant torque, silent start & sitting in traffic; and I am currently getting 57mpg in winter conditions. OK not as great as a pure electric but since none are available this is the best there is.
Hybrid cars runs mainly on combination of electricity and fuel.
