I need a reliable source of information about hybrid cars?

I’m giving a presentation soon, and would like to include some data about hybrid cost effectiveness over time, due to the lowered dependence upon gasoline. Does anyone know of any good sources? How expensive are repairs to hybrid cars? Would the cost be the same as it is for gas fueled cars ?
