I am thinking about changing my career and be a salesman of solar energy electricity system. What kind of class I can take to become more knowelegeble? Or if I go back to college, which major should I be choose in order to get in this field?

Came to be know that the Fossil oil is going to be end till 30 years and bio-diesel must be used. But what is the bio-diesel. Any body there to describe it?

… since ethanol also demands a lot of water, fertilizer,pesticides, land, imported oil, etc to grow (corn) and produce?

I am thinking about buying a hybrid, but I have heard that they will raise insurance A LOT. Can anyone confirm.

I just read up on some exciting new electric cars that will be coming out in the next 3 years that match my budget and will have up to 300 mpg!!!

But I was wondering, how these cars would handle on a street after a ice storm? The car would be great for me, but i live in the midwest and require a car that can get around ice and snow.

The information I would like to have is the typical weight an electric car, front/rear wheel drive, and inside space.

What do think is the nicest hybrid car? I’m all about helping the environment and better MPG but I’m not going to lie, I still want a cute car. Any suggestions?

Electric cars did exist over 10 years ago, but GM decided to scrap all of the cars, even though they worked perfectly. It’s all in a documentary called “Who killed the electric car?”. GM sold the battery technology to an oil company and the electric car was no more. If they would have worked on the battery technology, think of how far we would have gotten into electric cars.

Do Hybrid cars really do anything for the environment ?

I would like to buy a Lincoln Continental to restore (1964?) but put in a bio-diesel engine. Is this even possible? I am not much of a mechanic but surely an old Benz motor would fit under the huge hood of the Lincoln. Would I need a new transmission too (Benz)?
