Largest Rooftop Solar Installation in Pacific Northwest to use PV Powered Inverters

SunEdison To Build 72-MW Plant in Italy
SunEdison, a division of MEMC Electronic Materials Inc, received final approval from the Italian government this week to develop and build a 72-megawatt (MW) photovoltaic solar power plant in Northeastern Italy, near the town of Rovigo. NV Energy & WM Sign 3-MW PPA
NV Energy and Waste Management (WM) have signed a 20-year power purchase agreement for the sale of renewable energy produced from a 3-megawatt (MW) landfill gas-powered project to be located southeast of Reno at WM's Lockwood Landfill. The facility is expected to be generating renewable energy by late 2011. |
Solar Leadership Shakeup: Q-Cells & SkyFuel Lose CEOs
The last few weeks have seen two big leadership changes in the solar industry. This week, the Q-Cells SE Supervisory Board has accepted the resignation of CEO Anton Milner. Milner resigned from the company's Management Board with immediate effect but will serve as an adviser to the company. Nedim Cen, currently CFO and member of the Management Board, has been named CEO and will hold both positions. |
