Does anybody know how many solar panels and batterys I'll need to keep a hood steady flow of electricity? I don't use much. Just a fridge/microwave/42 inch tv (that things gonna suck energy haha)/ and I can use cheap LEDs for lighting. Any help is apreciates.

Take the amps on whatever unit you are using 120 and that is your panel watt need ie (freezer 2 amp 120 volt ac = 240 watt + 20% for night use = 50+240= 290 or 300watts of panels. that will run the appliance and keep the batteries charged.

There is nothing worse than food going bad after a hurricane. Great Job on the work, we all have to start somewhere. contact me if you want for a lot better deal on panels, i also have a nice AC misting idea to share.
